Matthew Capper

Matthew Capper has been the General Manager of Warner/Chappell Music Australia Pty Ltd since 2004, and is a Director of APRA (Australasian Performing Right Association) and AMCOS (Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owner's Society) and the Deputy Chairperson of AMPAL (Australasian Music Publisher's Association Ltd). Prior to working at Warner/Chappell, Matthew was the Administration Manager at Festival Music Publishing, a now-defunct Australian independent music publishing company, which was acquired by Mushroom Music in 2005.

In his second life, Matthew is a musician and songwriter who currently spends his spare time locked away in his home studio recording the album that he'd promised himself he'd get started on, and complete, six years ago - like many musicians, Matthew suffers from the delusion that if he had “just one more piece of gear”, he'd be able to get it done.
